Question by synergyman78: What can my friend do now that he’s lost a certain set of keys to his car?
my friend put a “wheel lock” on every wheel of his new car. the accessory wheel locks can only be opened with a special “key” that will “open” all 4 of these wheel locks protecting it from petty theft. the other day, he brought his new car to his dealer for a tire rotation only to be asked by the service guys “where the key at?!” and he was like, “What key? You mean there’s a key to those things?” he says he doesn’t remember receiving a key when he finally drove the car home on the day he purchased it but i’m pretty sure he just lost it. unfortunately, he still hasn’t any luck of finding it even to this day. i’m worried he’ll encounter a flat tire one day and get stranded at the shop calling me for a ride!!
and if you don’t know what wheel locks look like, here are the details (credit Honda): http://automobiles.honda.com/s2000/accessory-detail.aspx?Accessory=S200008005
