Oh what we won’t do for the “covienience” factor…and how gullible we are.
My friend has run-flat tires, and he had a flat. Except a few problems…once you DRIVE on a run-flat tire, it has to be replaced, regardless if you drove 1-mile or 50.
Replacement cost for 1(one) tire cost…$ 500 dollars!!! That’s about what the cost would be to replace 4 normal tires(and God forbid what the bill will be when ALL 4 need to be replaced)
Here’s a better alternative…spend $ 100/year on a AAA membership that will tow you withing a 50 or 100 mile radius.
If your going to buy a new car/truck, and these are part of the “package”, tell them to put normal tires on the wheels and put the difference back in your own pocket! Or sell them back to the dealer/mfg!
