Hey everyone I have a Stock Honda Civic DX, 2000, Coupe White 84,000 miles and I have quite a few questions. I don’t even know if it’s worth fixing up a car with that many miles. :’(
1. 2. I don’t know if I’m paying too much or too little so if you guys can show me some wheels that are nice looking. I’m not sure if you know what I’m talking about, but I’m interested in the rectangular looking wheels. I don’t want to pay too much for the wheels though.. In total plug shipping i’ll be paying around $ 879.76
3. I need a muffler or a axleback exhaust that will sound good with my car, I don’t really want it loud, just enough. I also don’t want it to mess with my mpg.
4. I’m looking into changing the upholstry and I don’t know where to find the seats or seat covers for it and what I should get. I would like a black seat interior front and rear. I’m thinking black seats with a mix of red.
5. How do I lower my car without it affecting my exhaust? Should I install it first then lower?
6. How much does a tint cost and what is considered legal in california? I have roll up windows so I can’t put them down when I see cops..
7. Is there a way to install electronic roll up windows in my car?
I don’t know where to find people to do this.. the business don’t do it only wheels and rims. I live in southern california and I don’t know people personally for them to do it because if they mess up, my car is messed up

kinda hard to read your post but ima tried to answer your first question which was “if it’s worth fixing up a car” which was in the first paragraph

different people like different things and think differently
My answer will be no it is not worth fixing up a civic

My reasons:
Honda civic is not a sport car nor is it a performance car. It is a compact car or an economy car.
For example: a van is a van which is able to transport 5 or more people. Do you see fix up vans?
no because it is not meant for speed, nor is a honda civic

But this is your money and your time. If you would like to fix up a economy car then go ahead. But DO NOT expect much gain nor be fast enough to beat your neighbor evo/mustang/camaro/sti

IF you have the TIME AND MONEY you CAN make it super fast. Like you see those 10sec trucks on youtube videos, but they require THOUSAND of dollars

If you like speed then start with a car that is meant for speed to begin with. Because that poor civic tranny will not handle the power you want. But don’t worry that engine will not produce enough anyways.

I suggest you begin with an all american v8 muscle cars.
