Question by julialee: I am disabled, need second hand car, have no money?

Totally disabled with permanent, progressive lung disease from which I will not recover. have 16 year old car, no money to replace it with. sole income is Disability. Need financial help to get decent second hand car. Unable to work. Lack of oxygen in lungs causes frequent illnesses in people with lung disease; lack of oxygen means you get tired very easily; also cannot work because have to go to hospital 3 days a week for lung maintenance “rehab” therapy to stave off/slow down progression. no family to help me. this is not a scam. situation desparate. live in Connecticut. 56 year old female. thank you.

Contact all the local church’s in the area, sometimes they will get cars donated by businesses needing a write off on their taxes.
Just tell them of your problem, also contact the local radio station and ask for advice, the might air your situation on the air and raise money for you. People love to give to someone who’s in need.
Good luck to you.
