60,000 mile warranty i received when i bought my tires from pep boys?
I went to pep boys 3 years ago and bought 4 new tires, I recently went to another shop to have a Wheel alignment and they told me that my 1 of my tires had a defect. I took the tire back to pep boys because i only put about 28,000 miles on the car. They told me they would give me a $40.00 in store credit and charge me $65.00 for another tire.can someone please tell me can they legally do this. what should I do.

Yes, and this is why you don’t waste money on tire warranty’s cause they usually never stand by them. Also at the price of the warranty’s on some you could almost buy another set of tires for the price at times.
