Question by AK ICE MEDIC: clomid mistake? did I hurt my chance this month?
So I was instructed by my doctor to take 50mg of clomid from days 3-7. Yesterday was the last day I was supposed to take it. for the first 4 days, I took it everyday at 7:30am before work. But yesterday I was running late and completely forgot about it until I made it to work which by that point was to late to come back home. I took it as soon as I got home (as I wondered about it ALL day in worry) so the last pill was taken at 5pm yesterday. 10 hours late. Could that possibly mess up my cycle and ovulation? I bought the digital ovulation kits to use this month. I got tired of guessing if the line was “as dark as the control line” or not so I paid a little more for a definate answer. I plan on starting those on Wednesday, just curious if anyone had forgotten a pill and if it was a successful month?

I don’t think it’s a big deal since it was just one day. You should ovulated 5 – 10 days after the last pill.

I’ve done the same thing! But DON’T worry! It shouldn’t mess anything up. I also had the ovulation test kits and it came back as I was ovulating. So you should too. I was on 50mg of clomid as well.
Clomid helped me a lot. I conceived the second month of being on it. Good luck & lots of baby dust!
that same thing happened to me when i was taking clomid, i used to take it at 6am when i woke up and one morning i forgot and didn’t take it til after 4pm when i got home from work. i called my doctors office and the nurse said it was fine, not to worry about it.
You still took it the same day so I wouldn’t worry about it.
