Are you tired of all the “Rebate” talk?

Question by Veritas et Aequitas (): Are you tired of all the “Rebate” talk?

Our government is such a sham! Does anybody even care where this money is coming from? Since we are in a deficit it certainly isn’t coming from us. I would like our government to explain, exactly where they are getting all of this money from?!
I agree, too much tax is paid anyways, so don’t mind getting the money back. I am just irritated with the overspending when the deficit continues to grow. It’s ridiculous. I do have a problem with people who don’t even pay taxes getting the money though.

In the end, it all comes from our tax dollars…we are getting some back that we have paid in.

No, not tired of it. I will tell you where they are getting it, they are simply returning my money that they had taken in taxes. Dont really have a problem with getting to keep more of my money.

Although I will take the money, even though it is fiscally irresponsible to give a rebate without a clear plan to pay for it, I would like them to shut up about it.

im not tired off all the talk in fact im very interested in the money it will help some people and hinder others but.. in the end who knows what it will do to the gov. the real thing i want to know …. is what kind of red tape do we have to go thought to get this check or rebate….oh ya thanks for the 2 points

Its essentially a loan from you to you. The taxpayers, which cuts out the bottom portion of the country, are going to have to pay this back with interest later. It would be better for the country as a whole if they took that money and used it to pay for things that are over budget or other areas where we’re already having to pay late fees and such (ie. those wiretapping lines that were just shut off due to unpaid bills, we’re having to pay the fees on that).

I agree it`s a sham, the people who need the money the most, the working poor, aren`t going to get a penny of it.
